I propose a bill that will allow the Smithy to go to technical school where they can learn new skills.
For each item the Smithy wants to learn to make they have to pay class fees of 2 QI'yaH.
It is up to the Smithy what classes they take and what skills they learn. However they can only learn how to make 1 new item per class. The Smithy works with metal so the items they make must be metallic in nature, Ex: no parachutes or Tupperware. Well I guess they could make chain mail parachutes but I would think sales would be rather slow.
The Smithy can proclaim what class they are taking and then start selling the item the same week. It is up to the Smithy what an item will sell for and of course all proceeds of a sale go to the Smithy.
The Smithy can take as many classes as their QI'yaH will allow. Seems Nomiblog Tech does not have a student loan program so they can not go negative?
If bill 27.5 passes a post called "Smithy skills" needs to be created by the Smithy. This post will list all the items they can make. It will be up to the citizens to check this post from time to time to see what is available... well unless the Smithy chooses to do some marketing of their own.
To purchase an item from the Smithy simply add a comment stating your intentions to the second post the Smithy will have to create called "Smithy Sales". All purchases made after a Monday (Midnight Nomiblog time) will not take effect till the following week.
The Smithy is required to check both of their posts each Tuesday and report all class fees and sales to the Administrator (by midnight Nomiblog time). Failure to do this is "Nomi Fraud" and shall be punished by the loosing of the Smithy position. Even if no classes or sales took place they need to be reported.
Whenever a new Smithy takes this position the old Smithy skills are cleared (obviously they belonged to the old master).
Both Smithy Posts will have the label "Smithy" so they are easy to find in the right hand menu.
This should now be sufficiently confusing and tightly woven.

Yes - This was a great idea before. Now it is the greaterest bill I have ever read!!
Yes. This makes me VERY HAPPY! I want a chainmail parachute. Though I certainly wouldn't blame the Smithy if she votes "no" on a bill that requires paperwork on a set schedule. Damn.
OOPS - I had to change the line that read:
"The Smithy can make as many items as their QI'yaH will allow."
To:
"The Smithy can take as many classes as their QI'yaH will allow."
My Bad please forgive.
The administrator says: You can't do that. Rule #26 specifies that it's illegal to change bills after someone else has voted on them. Luckily, Rule #26 doesn't invoke a penalty. Please be advised that the bill can't be changed unless someone first alters Rule #26.
The Baron says: I'm happy either way, and see no harm in that edit.
No. Since I have a reputation to uphold as Baron and Administrator, I must follow the rules as much as possible. I have changed my vote, and will not say "yes" unless the original text is restored.
And you know what? Being so fickle makes me happy.
I honestly have no clue what Bill #26 even really amounts to but I was under the understanding that for every votes cast at the time of a post edit means the poster acquires more "frag".
But then I also though Bill#26 voided most of itself out and was changed to blue to show what was now void.
Maybe the evil yet happy baron is trying to make me change the post again so I get even more frag? Oh and I fat fingered my last comment so just pretend like all the words have all the needed letters.
"Maybe the evil yet happy baron is trying to make me change the post again"
It must be said that it makes me happy to know that you consider me to be so devious. But I am not. In short:
Rule #Negative26 produced Frag, then suspended itself because there was a Rule#26.
Rule#26, proposed by Amy a few days before #Negative26, says no one can alter their posts once someone else has voted on that post.
I had voted, and so you're not allowed to alter the post.
This must be why I play computer games instead of role playing games. All the rules are just programmed in so there is no need to know them.
I confuse ever so easy. So after reading the two rules together I now understand that the administrator should have made the needed "grammar" change that is allowed by #26. Yet there is no punishment for just doing whatever I want so I am going to just leave it... It is such a little harmless change and is such a very good bill. With rampant changers like sex running around I am but a mere jaywalker in Nomiblog land.
Rules without consequence for disobedience are really more like guidelines :) If Grandma never slaps my hand why would I stop stealing cookies? I like cookies a whole bunch.
It doth make me very happy to hear that you would interpret "grammar" so liberally as to allow me to happily rewrite your posts in a way that alters their meaning.
But, I assure you, I am not a tyrant.
No. Because I've voted yes for every other bill this week.
No. It just seems like a lot to expect of the Smithy. Now the Administrator, there's someone to pile more responsibilities on!
I thanketh thee happily, my dear countryman Kevin.
