Lineage of digital_sextant

The Digital Sextant -- Brendan Riley to his few friends who dare speak his name, was born to a loving mother who had been visited in the night by Oberon, who offered her magical chocolates that left her tastebuds buzzing and her womb with child.

His life as a plebe and amateur court jester left him snarky and timid, a physical weakling capable more likely to disarm enemies with his wit and then poke them in the eyes with his fork than to face them in a duel. His nom-de-plume comes from his affinity for the sea, a trait inherited from his namesake and far distant ancestor, Saint Brendan of Clonfert.

While his loyalty and fealty to r_b_bergstrom tears his soul apart, Digital Sextant can't refuse the divine calling burbling forth from his noble blood. (Blood nobler, he regrets to point about, by about 1200 years AND demi-godhood.) His rule would be benevolent and whimsical, with only a whiff of corruption, like the delicious odor of a Bath and Body Works Shop tainted only by a dead rat behind the counter.

No. Never. No.

You think being saintly qualifies you to lead?

You are far too niave to be elidgible for this glorious Baronial Title.

And furthermore, this is a protest vote. Silly Sextant, Barony is for me.

Yes. I like the scent of hidden dead rat. It is a fun game. "Oh I think this is where the smell is coming form... not wait it is stronger over here... but wait there is a breeze carrying the corpse smell to this corner." Fun game indeed!

Yes, I am sorry, dear and Noble Baron for mounting this challenge. I am likely too naive to rule well, but the fickle voice of voters might decide to give me a try anyhow.

And no, I am not saintly-- my ancestor was. (Though not TOO saintly, obviously, as he still continued his lineage.) I am merely NOBLE, rather than part of a capitalist aristocracy built on smokable plants.

A humorous and most amusing comment, mssr pointless. (Yes, we ARE amused) Bravo and well said.

However, we cannot support your logic with a change of vote, for I imagine we will be forced to smell the dead rat regardless of what position he holds...

(You feel compelled to accept this as a No vote. The reason being this: The current Baron is doing a fine job. He has not hindered us in our quest for the One Ring, nore has he hid any Hobbits from us. We cannot gaurantee that the digital sextant will play into our hands in this fasion.)
