I would like to propose a bill that declares any Nomi blog citizen dead if they make no posts or comments for a period greater than 16 calender days. Once a citizen is dead their name is removed from the "player list". Their death is to be announced at the beginning of the next week of play by the administrator.
Once dead all possessions of the player are set ablaze and a following week is spent remembering them. During this week of play no new bills may be posted. Those who violate this time by posting a bill loose 10 QI'yaH. The bill is still treated like any other and those that vote on it get no penalty as long at they mention the recently departed.
Unless Brother Andrei posts before the beginning of the next week of play he would be our first departed.

Yes - Such a sad thing... but we must dispose of the dead or they will foul the air. Worse yet they could become zombies and eat our brains! Where would we be without brains? Brainless is where, and that ain't good. I am hardly able to pull it off. I often leave the house with only one shoe.
No. Several happy reasons for my objection:
1) The last communication I've had with Brother Andrei in the real world was the day he signed up for nomiblog. Calling him "dead" when I haven't been able to get a response from him via email is creepy.
2) Life gets complicated. I don't like the idea that being unable to post for just over two weeks costs you everything. Right now it's no big deal, but the longer the game goes on, the more that potential loss could mean something. If someone's computer died and they couldn't replace it for two paychecks, they might decide not to come back to Nomiblog afterwords.
3) Brother Andrei being on the roster doesn't actually cost us anything. He doesn't impact votes. The only down side I see is that he makes Bill #Cosby less meaningful. That could be solved in a variety of ways that don't remove Brother Andrei from the game.
4) I don't like the "no bills for a week" clause. I don't think the game will survive if we are all forced to do nothing for a week. We might weather that once, but if it ever happened two weeks in a row the game would die.
5) It's not just Brother Andrei who'd be killed by this. Amy also hasn't posted in 16+ days.
No. I would vote for an alternative version of this bill that moved someone into a separate roster until they posted again.
Such an alternate list would allow me to ammend Bill Cosby (and other bills in future) to distinguish between total number of players and players who don't post too often.
Braap! Don't post too often! Braap!
No. Some of us have busy lives and should not be declared "dead" just because we can't post as often as we'd like.
